ROTARY CLUB OF LAWRENCEVILLE

“Service Above Self”

The Mission of the Rotary Club of Lawrenceville is to provide service to others and promote high ethical standards, understanding, and goodwill through its fellowship of business, professional and community leaders. Chartered in 1997, we are one of about sixty-five Rotary Clubs in District 6910 which includes communities north of the metro Atlanta area. Chartered with 29 members and with several more members today, we prefer the close friendships that form naturally in a medium-sized club.

As is Rotary tradition, we meet weekly for fellowship and a meal. The first meeting place for our club was the Flying Machine Restaurant at the Gwinnett County Airport. Being known for our flexibility, we met in various venues before coming to our current meeting place, Garden Plaza at Lawrenceville. Though chartered as a breakfast club, currently we enjoy meeting Mondays at noon.

Lawrenceville is the county seat of Gwinnett County and the second oldest city in Greater Atlanta. From state-of-the-art medical, educational and government facilities to thriving business, cultural, and recreational opportunities, Lawrenceville serves as home and host to individuals and families who come from around the globe. The 2006 opening of Georgia Gwinnett College-Georgia’s first four-year public college established in over 100 years-has further enhanced the appeal of Lawrenceville for students, educators, professionals, and business leaders.

The Rotary Club of Lawrenceville is proud to serve as the premier service organization within the community, foster friendships and professional relationships, and support the ideals of Rotary International. Thank you for visiting us today, where
