Introduction to Rotary Technology – Introduce DACdb and My Rotary (International Rotary on line). Students will learn to find and use help files and training videos, review major features in MyRotary and DACdb, learn to enter and revise their personal information in DACdb.

Hidden Gems – Students will learn about special features in MyRotary such as Rotary Club Central and Rotary.org/Learn. There will be a review of all available DACdb features plus Help files and training videos. The mobile version of DACdb will also be discussed.

Rotary Technology for the Club Secretary – The Rotary Manual for Club Secretaries will form the basis of this discussion. Students will learn to use information technology to improve efficiency of work associated with the role of club secretary. Since some work can be done in either MyRotary or DACdb, the program will discuss which IT is best for managing which jobs in district 6910.

Board-elect Training Seminar (BETS) – An opportunity for incoming and existing Board members to learn about their roles and responsibilities as they pertain to Rotary International, Zone and District objectives.

Club Trainers – Roles & Responsibilities – Learn about recommendations for who would make a great club trainer and how they can offer best practices for club success in providing appropriate training for club members and leaders.

Club By-laws and Structure – Many clubs have updated their by-laws and changed their meeting structure and attendance rules to be more inclusive. An experienced facilitator will lead a session on some “best practices” and new ideas to stimulate membership growth, retention and member engagement.

Youth Services – This course includes a discussion about all of the opportunities to engage in Youth Services such as RYLA, Rotary Youth Exchange, Interact and Rotaract, including proper Rotary’s policies on Youth Protection.

Meet with DG, DGE and other District Leadership – An opportunity for AG’s, District Program Directors and club leadership and members to engage in a discussion about Rotary International and District plans and issues with DG Bruce, DGN Don and DGN Tina. Your current District Governor Chain wants to hear what is going on within your clubs and discuss how they might help you be successful.
