• Became a member of the ShelterBox Response Teams in November 2007.
• Retired as an SRT in Aug. 2014
• Was deployed 16 times to: Zambia, Niger, the Democratic Republic of Congo, Guatemala, Columbia, Japan, Alabama, Missouri, Ethiopia, Mexico, Nicaragua and New Jersey
• Appointed by the last 7 DGs of District #6910, as District ShelterBox Ambassador.
• Has been a Rotarian since 1968,and is a member of the Gainesville Club.
• Is the manager for the District Grants program.
• Has been a resident of Gainesville and Hall County since 1988.
• Has been a member of the Dahlonega, and So. Hall Co. Rotary Clubs.
• Served as Pres. of The Rotary Club of So. Hall Co. 2003-04, 2004-05.

Mike is a retired Episcopal priest and served as a Naval Reserve Chaplain for 30 years, retiring with the rank of Captain. His wife, Pat, is a Past President of the Rotary Club of Hall County.
