Lindsay, Pope, Brayfield, Clifford, and Assoc. Inc. was established as a sole proprietorship by Winford “Buck” Lindsay, FAIA, in 1975. The original business plan was to be a small general practice community Architecture firm. However, in 1978, an opportunity arrived to begin hospitality specialization, which became the company’s first niche market, with now over 323 hotels designed. In 1986, LPB added Engineering services to its offering under the leadership of Greg Brayfield, P.E., which now includes structural, mechanical, and electrical engineering. In 1982, Interior Design was added. Vanessa Burt, ASID. has led this department since 1986.

Along with the hospitality specialization LPB also serves the local community with specialization in schools under the leadership of Becky Pope, AIA, as well as public buildings and retail under the leadership of Mike Clifford, AIA.
