Catherine F. Neiner is the Director of the Career Development and Advising Center at Georgia Gwinnett College. Prior to joining GGC, she served as Director of Career Planning at Agnes Scott College for twelve years and Director of MBA Career Services at Georgia Tech for seven years.

In 2006, Mrs. Neiner was one of only six US college career services professionals awarded a Fulbright Scholarship to consult to the nascent college career services profession in Germany. She has held numerous leadership roles in the college career services profession and currently serves on the Board of Directors of the National Association of Colleges and Employers (NACE). She authored NACE’s position paper on unpaid internships.

She served on the faculties of Georgia Tech where she was the first instructor for the core communications course in the MBA program as well as Entergy University, the Auburn Women’s Leadership Institute, and the Agnes Scott College – Georgia Tech Bridge to Business mini-MBA.

Mrs. Neiner has been an invited presenter at numerous regional and national career conferences and frequently is invited to speak at leadership conferences. She has written for publications on the topics of communication and career.

She holds a Masters in Communications from Georgia State University and a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism from the University of Georgia.
