Ebony Russell has been with PADV for 4.5 years. Russell started off as the Family Advocate in Gwinnett safe house. During her time at PADV, Russell has worked extensively with survivors of domestic violence along with their children. During the time that Russell served as the Family Advocate, she has put in place daily homework help session, pat a pet, and a mentoring program that the safe house still utilize. Ebony has recently started a support group at the Gwinnett County Department of Correction, The Center for Visually Impaired and at a local homeless shelter. She is also the treasurer for Gwinnett County Family Violence Task Force and a member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority Inc.
As a nonprofit organization, each of PADV’s programs and services are offered free of charge to those in need. As a result, our ogranization does not generate earned revenue and is largely reliant on the generosity of our donors to sustain our work.
