Nathan Powell is the head of the wills, trusts and estates division at the law firm of Webb, Tanner, Powell & Wilson, LLP. Nathan has experience in planning a wide range of estates, from individuals with a single beneficiary to large and growing families, and families who own small businesses. His specialty and passion is tailoring estate plans to meet his clients’ needs, protect their families, and safeguard their future.

While a large portion of Nathan’s work involves wills, trusts and estates, he is also highly involved in the civil litigation division of the firm. Nathan has represented small businesses and individuals on both the plaintiff’s and defendant’s side.

Nathan graduated from Georgia State University School of Law, where he learned estate planning and business succession law from Professors Anne Emanuel and Mary Radford. While at Georgia State University, Nathan earned the distinction of completing the Capstone class, which is a program designed by Mary Radford to trains young associates in tax- and business succession planning.

In the community, Nathan has been actively involved in the Gwinnett Bar Association, 12Stone Church, and the Advisory Council to the Gwinnett Chapter of the Salvation Army. Nathan has also spoken before the Lawrenceville chapter of the AARP about the probate process and estate planning.
