Nicole Hendrickson: Gwinnett County Community Outreach

Nicole Love Hendrickson is a native of Providence, Rhode Island. With a passion for service, she attended the University of Georgia where she earned her Master’s of Social Work Degree with a focus in community development & non-profit management. Nicole is a young professional with an extensive background in non-profit management, community organizing, fundraising, strategic planning and community capacity building. She was recently appointed as the Community Outreach Program Director for Gwinnett County Board of Commissioners and is tasked with developing a comprehensive outreach plan for the County at large. Prior to that, Nicole served as the Associate Director for the Gwinnett Coalition for Health and Human Services. In that capacity, Nicole spearheaded the Gwinnett Neighborhood Leadership Institute, providing grassroots community leadership training to residents and led the annual Gwinnett Great Days of Service which is known as the largest volunteer initiative in the country. She is actively involved in the community, serving in a variety of capacities. Her current involvement includes serving on the Leadership Gwinnett Steering Committee, the Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta Gwinnett Board; The City of Duluth Parks and Recreation advisory board, and was recently appointed to the United Way Gwinnett Board. Nicole is a graduate of Leadership Gwinnett Class of 2010, the Georgia Center for Non-profit Leadership Certification Program, and the American Express Non-profit Leadership Institute. She also serves as a community coach for the Neighborhood Fund, a program of the Community Foundation of Greater Atlanta. Nicole has been named Gwinnett Business Journals’ Top 35 under 35 young professionals and 2011 Gwinnett Braves Tenth Man Award, given to local leaders who embody the spirit of Gwinnett County.
Nicole resides in Duluth Georgia with her husband, Keverne and son, Kaden.
