Nicole Lescota: Director of Gwinnett Women’s Pavilion Operations

Nicole Lescota is the Director of Women’s Services at Gwinnett Medical Center with responsibility for the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit, Labor and Delivery, High Risk Pregnancy Unit and Maternal Infant Unit including childbirth education and lactation services.
Recently awarded Baby Friendly Designation, Gwinnett Women’s Pavilion provides maternity, education and diagnostic services to women of all ages as well as newborn intensive care and neonatal transport services. With twenty years of experience in Women’s Health, her roles have included Labor and Delivery Nurse, Childbirth Educator, Lactation Counselor and nursing management.
Nicole holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing from Emory University and a Master of Science in Nursing with a focus on Nursing Leadership and Management. Nicole is a Nurse Director Fellow of the American Organization of Nurse Executives and an active member of the Association of Women’s Health, Obstetric and Neonatal Nursing as well as Sigma Theta Tau International, and the Honor Society of Nursing. She is also certified in Inpatient Obstetrics as well as Electronic Fetal Monitoring.
Nicole is married to her husband of 25 years and has two daughters, currently in nursing school and a son, a junior in high school. Away from work, Nicole enjoys traveling, reading, watching football and spending time outdoors.
