RCL Trees Project
04/06/2018 @ 3:00 pm - 5:00 pm
As some of you may know, Rotary International began a tree-planting initiative for this Rotary year, and that initiative has been passed on to us through the District Office. The goal is to plant a tree for each Rotarian in our club.
Through some quick work done by Beatty McCaleb, we have been able to procure the trees and some additional shrubbery which we will be planting at Creative Enterprises.
Our plan is to gather this Friday afternoon, April 6, from 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m., with as many volunteers from our club as we can get there, and get these trees into the ground. Prior to our arrival, Craig Roberts will have already arranged to have the holes for these trees dug, and so all we will need to do is place the trees into the pre-dug holes and fill them in.
Please plan to join us if you can for all, or if necessary, just part of this project. Bring your “Rotarian at Work” shirt if you have one, work gloves, and shovels if you have any to spare. The more members we have participate, the quicker the work will go.
Please send a reply, if you are able to spend any time, including any friends, family, co-workers you may include, to beatty51@earthlink.net.
Dress for yard work; bring any gloves, small tools, shovels you like to use!
The more volunteers, the less the work, and you will make it home for the Masters’ coverage!
