Rebecca Sturtz was recently named the new executive director for Garden Plaza at Lawrenceville, an independent living and assisted living community for seniors. Sturtz most recently served as vice president of operations for New Dawn Memory Care centers in Arizona, Colorado and Virginia. Prior to that appointment, she was an executive director for New Dawn. She was with the company for seven and a half years and has 15 years of experience in senior care.

“I enjoy the history that our residents represent,” said Sturtz. “I enjoy helping them live as independently as possible for as long as possible.”

Originally from Rockville, Maryland, Sturtz earned her bachelor’s degree in adult development from the University of North Carolina in Greensboro. She currently resides in Lawrenceville with her husband, Mark, and their two children.

Garden Plaza at Lawrenceville is located at 230 Collins Industrial Way.
