After graduating from the University of Georgia in 1996, Richard served as the Operations Manager for UGA’s transit system for over seven years. He then moved on to the CDC in Atlanta to work as a budget analyst before accepting a position with the Gwinnett County Tax Commissioner’s Office in 2005. Richard began by managing tag offices, and then served as the Director of the Property Tax Department before being appointed the Chief Deputy Tax Commissioner. He was sworn in as Tax Commissioner on May 1, 2011.
In this presentation Richard will discuss the new Title Ad Valorem Tax and where we are with that, as well as what’s coming up in 2014.
