Scarlett is the Executive Director of the Hebron Community Health Center,  a  501(c)3 ministry to those without any kind of insurance and living at or below the poverty level. Scarlett was hired January 2011 and began immediately to implement improvements to the operation of the clinic. HCHC was founded in 2003 and has seen on average 1,200 patients  per year since then. The clinic is staffed completely by volunteer professionals;  doctors, dentists, RN’s, lab techs and dental hygienists. There is also a volunteer pharmacist on staff that dispenses the medications as prescribed by the doctors.

The clinic operates on a budget of $60,000 that is provided by donations and grants from local churches and the community. Overhead is kept to a minimum in order to have the majority of funds directed to the health needs of the patients. HCHC is managed by a Board of Directors, many of whom also volunteer at the clinic.
