Miranda Raines is a graduate of the University of Georgia with a Masters Degree in
Social Work specializing in Addiction and Trauma Informed Care and a Certified Peer
Specialist in Addictive Disease in the state of Georgia. With 27 years of residential
experience in providing recovery support services for men, women, and families
seeking recovery, Miranda combines her personal recovery journey and her
professional training to advocate for the well-being of others. She currently serves as
the Program Director for two non-profit organizations in Gwinnett County where she
creates safe, supportive spaces for individuals using peer support, recovery-centered
programming, and a faith-based recovery curriculum. Miranda is a Board Member of the
Georgia Faith and Recovery Collaboration and is also a Notary Public. Her passion lies
in empowering individuals who are on their way to recovery and wellness through
advocacy, education, and support.
