#1 priority this weekend!  Look at your schedule for Saturday morning – are you free?  If so, go now to register for District Assembly Training.  This training is for both new and old Rotarians to learn more about Rotary.  There is a class called Rotary 101 as well as one on how to use DACdb.  If you have a leadership or board position, there is training for you.  If your schedule allows for you to dedicated time this weekend please register on DACdb.  We are a growing club and need people who are trained to take on roles for the board, work in committees and provide ideas and service.  The board positions we believe are already planned and filled for the 2022-2023 Rotary year, but in the future,  there will be openings.

The training is stated as for current and future club leaders.  We are all leaders and knowledge helps us lead successfully.   The location is North Oconee High School, 1081 Rocky Branch Road Bogart, GA 30622.  The time is from 8 AM to 1 PM.  This covers 3 session that you can choose the sessions that you want to attend.

Attached is a schedule of times and training sessions as well as the agenda for the day. If your new to Rotary really consider attending as many of you asked what else is there to Rotary other than the lunch meetings.  My suggestion is Rotary 101 and Rotary.org & DACdb sessions and then choose one other to listen in to see if you would want to fill a leadership role in the future.

I hope that you consider attending, as our numbers count toward goal into next year.  This past year we were a Small Club and receive a GOLD Club award.  We have numbers now to be a Medium club, and would like to continue our GOLD status next year.  Again, we would like to have over 25% our membership attend this training.  The cost is $35 and covers two meals (breakfast and lunch) and it is a great networking event with other Rotary club’s members.  A number of the board members are attending, we hope to see you there.
