Elizabeth Danley & Robert Thomas: United Way GRIP (Gwinnett Reentry Intervention Program)

Elizabeth Danley:

Elizabeth Danley, is a graduate of Georgia State University, and holds a Master of Social Work. She has worked 5 years with the homeless popualtion of Atlanta, beginning as Benefits Specialist at local non-profit, First Step Staffing and Benefits. Lis has been a Project Manager with United Way of Greater Atlanta’s, Regional Commission on Homelessness for 3 years, with a focus on reentry efforts and domestic violence.

Robert Thomas:

Robert Thomas is part of the Litigation Group of Andersen, Tate & Carr.  His practice focuses on both commercial litigation and construction law matters, including contract disputes, business torts, fiduciary issues, and shareholder claims.

Mr. Thomas received his Juris Doctor, cum laude, from the University of Georgia School of law in 2009.  While in law school, Mr. Thomas enjoyed a successful oral advocacy career, where he was named a finalist in the Russell and Talmadge competitions, was a member of the winning team at the Georgia Intrastate Competition, and received “Best Oralist” awards in both the Talmadge and National Moot Court (Southeast Region) competitions.  Also while in law school, Mr. Thomas worked with Priti Suri and Associates, a law firm in New Delhi, India, with a focus on international commercial arbitration.

Mr. Thomas is licensed to practice law in both Georgia and South Carolina.  Before joining the firm, Mr. Thomas was an associate with Haynsworth Sinkler Boyd, P.A. in Greenville, South Carolina.

Mr. Thomas advocates and volunteers with United Way GRIP (Gwinnett Reentry Intervention Program).
