Erven A Kimble

Erven Kimble is a native of Houston, Texas and has lived in Gwinnett County Georgia for over 30 year. His professional career and work experiences include;

  • Cooperate management for 21 years with several major computer companies with his last tenure being with Hewett Packard Company as a Vertical Marketing Segment Manager,
  • Senior Pastor of a church in Lilburn, Georgia for over 24 years,
  • Civic and community leader in Gwinnett County,
  • Social entrepreneur in the Health and Wellness industry.

Throughout his life time he has founded and been involved in numerous church, civic and business endeavors. Some of the offices and positions he has held include:

  • Charter member of the Omega Psi Phi Fraternity at the University of Houston
  • Founding President of Gwinnett County NAACP
  • Community Advisory Board to the Gwinnett County Hospital System
  • Architect & Past Chairman of the “Human Relations Commission of Gwinnett County”
  • Past President of The Congress of Christian Education – Hopewell Baptist Association
  • Treasurer and Executive Board Member – The Atlanta Pastors Fellowship
  • Board Member of “The Board of Examiners for Georgia Christian Counselors and Therapists” (GBOE)
  • Executive Committee of the National African American Fellowship of the Southern Baptist Convention
  • Executive Committee Gwinnett Metro Baptist Association of Georgia Baptist Convention

His solid Christian beliefs and values, high level of integrity, proven track record of success, passion for helping others, promoting the Gospel, and leadership skills has uniquely prepared him for his current position as Development Director for Water@Work Ministry, Inc., where his current responsibilities include:

  • Manage and coordinate current Water@Work fundraising activities
  • Development of new fundraising and grant opportunities
  • Administrate Customer Relationship Management
  • Coordinate donor development, stewardship, and growth
  • Develop, coordinate and manage strategic service partners and major philanthropists

Erven shares the vision of Water@Work: “To Transform The Dominican Republic… With Clean Water and the Gospel” and is committed to developing strategic relationship with various organization to accomplish such and enormous task as Water@Work impacts the poorest children with access to clean water, the love of Jesus, family safety, health, hygiene and mosquito control.
