British-born Tami Wilder, now living in Grayson Ga, Is the CEO of Positive Impact International and Gwinnett County Safe Place. Tami has always had a love for music, the arts, mentoring youth- and the overwhelming desire to have a Positive Impact on our underserved families! As such, Tami and her Mother Linda (CFO) created the program “Positive Impact International” which can help a child channel their negative energy into doing something POSITIVE or even to help a child achieve their dream, regardless of income, race, creed or color.

Seven years in, serving underserved preschools, community Programs, PMAC Mentoring Program (Juvenile Court), and Safe Place- Positive Impact serves over 500 children per month ages 3yrs to 17yrs, running classes by professionals and highly trained teachers. Positive Impact offers an array of classes including but not limited to Performing Arts, Arts and Crafts, Film and Photography, Vegan Culinary, Tae- Kwon Do, and Sports- free or with just a small fee.

Positive Impact is a 501c-3 nonprofit organization and is currently run on sponsorships and volunteers. It has now become the” National Safe Place Agency” for Gwinnett County, an Agency which helps youth in any unsafe situation or crisis, providing them immediate shelter, aiming to reunite families with stronger family dynamics by offering Youth Mentoring, Family Counseling, and initiating them in the Positive Impact programs. Positive Impact aims to educate over 140,000 children on National Safe Place this year by their partnering with the Gwinnett County schools.
