JUNIOR ACHIEVEMENT DISCOVERY CENTER AT GWINNETT

The JA Discovery Center at Gwinnett is a partnership with Gwinnett County Public Schools to provide real-life educational experiences to middle school students in Gwinnett County. Located on Old Norcross Road on the campus of the new Discovery High School, the JA Discovery Center opened at the start of the 2015-16 school year.

Rotary Club members are asked to meet at the building’s main entrance on Old Norcross Road (SEE DIRECTIONS TO PARKING ON BACK OF THIS PAGE….ENTER WHERE IT SHOWS THE DISCOVERY CENTER) between 11:45am and 12 noon. We’ll have a box lunch for you from Chick-Fil-A and then tour the facility and learn about JA BizTown and JA Finance Park in Gwinnett.

Directions to the JA Discovery Center at Gwinnett

From the South: Take I-85 North to GA-316 East – Exit 106. Continue 3.0 miles to the Riverside Pkwy exit. Turn right onto Riverside Pkwy and continue 0.6 miles, then turn right onto Old Norcross Rd. Continue for 0.6 miles, then turn right into the first entrance into the Discovery Center driveway, just past Benefield Elementary School. The Discovery Center parking spots are on your left.

From the North: Take US 19 (400) South to I-285 East. Take Exit 33B for 1-85 North. Continue for 10 miles, then take exit 106 for GA-316 East. Continue for 3 miles, then take the Riverside Pkwy exit. Turn right onto Riverside Pkwy and continue 0.6 miles, then turn right onto Old Norcross Rd. Continue for 0.6 miles, then turn right into the first entrance into the Discovery Center driveway, just past Benefield Elementary School. The Discovery Center parking spots are on your left.

From the West: Take I-285 E. Take exit 33B for I-85 North. Continue on I-85 North. Continue for 10 miles, then take exit 106 for GA-316 East. Continue for 3 miles, then take the Riverside Pkwy exit. Turn right onto Riverside Pkwy and continue 0.6 miles, then turn right onto Old Norcross Rd. From the East: Take I-20 West to I-285 North exit 67B toward Greenville/Chattanooga. Take exit 33B for I-85 North. Continue for 10 miles, then take exit 106 for GA-316 East. Continue for 3 miles, then take the Riverside Pkwy exit. Turn right onto Riverside Pkwy and continue 0.6 miles, then turn right onto Old Norcross Rd.
